Log an Issue

If you're experiencing a problem with JCS and you believe that this might be an issue, please fill out and
log an issue below.

If you are unsure how to do something or have an error message being displayed and require technical
support call JCS on 08450 049 599 or fax us on 08450 049 588.

If you have more than one bug to report please submit each one separately. This will ensure that if we
have to contact you or need to treat an issue as technical support, we can deal with them individually.

JCS endeavours to deliver the most reliable software possible, whilst also providing the widest range of features
and utilising the latest technologies, and will make every effort to fix any reported problems promptly and efficiently.

Issue Report Form

When you log your issue, it will be entered into our database for tracking purposes. It will be associated with the name and company name that you enter below. We may need to contact you to discuss the problem further so please make sure that we have your telephone number and/or email address.

When the problem is solved, you will be emailed with the availability of an update for download. 

Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.

  1. What version of the software are you using?


  2. What operating system are you using?
     

  3. Please enter a brief one-line description of the problem:

    (example: "Attempting to edit a Word documents gives an error")

  4. If the problem is reproducible, please list the steps required to cause it,
    leaving a blank line between steps:
    (example: "1. Opened Documents Register. 2. Clicked + button...")

  5. If the problem is not reproducible (only happened once, or occasionally for no apparent reason), please describe the circumstances in which it occurred and the symptoms observed or contact technical support (details above) to discuss the problem with a support engineer:
    (note: it is much harder for us to fix non-reproducible bugs)


  6. If the problem causes any error messages to appear, please write down the exact text displayed and enter it here:


  7. We get many bug reports where the issue is not a bug but a simple technical support issue, so please ensure that we have at least your e-mail address otherwise we will not be able to contact you. If it is a bug and we fix it, we will not be able to tell you that it is fixed unless we can contact you!
